Remove the tuner, replace the plastic cover and enjoy pain free TV. The original ElGato EyeTV is no longer officially available in the USA but the good news is that Geniatech bought the rights from ElGato to distribute it.

eyetv hybrid is compatible with Windows 7 or later and includes the Total TV Player for Windows, which supports many of the same features as eyetv 3. Simply connect the eyetv hybrid to the coaxial cable coming straight from the wall, or connect the eyetv hybrid to your TV aerial to receive the great variety of free-to-view TV programmes that are broadcast over-the-air. You can use eyetv hybrid with a Mac or PC. Heating the device (as works for some) temporarily expands the components - pressing the broken solder joints back together (until the device cools - and the components shrink back, breaking the joint again). I am trying to set-up our Mac desktop to allow us to watch TV (from Cablecom, through the HD mediabox recorder) until we get an actual television. Despite its small size, eyetv hybrid contains a full-size and built-in coaxial plug and does not require an adapter to connect cable or an aerial.
